What's your take on this case?  Do you think the guy did very much wrong?

Do you think any one of us could get into situations dealing with people  that would get us in trouble later?

Does anyone know why  the documents were found in his apartment in the first place?

What other events have come up that led to this guy being in trouble?

Hey LC - yeah, they talked alot (3 pages) without saying much, didn't they?
A low security, on-the-ground translator should not have ever had access to TOP SECRET documents anyway, so where did HE get them? - Still, I can't believe a competent MOLE (read: SPY) would be so stupid as to keep it, then or now, either..... back "in the day" of course, 60-70 people would NEVER have laid eyes on a need-to-know ops plan - that's why it's called a FRAG Order, your guys get the FRAGMENT that applies to them, which is designed just to keep this kind of thing from occurring.....
Maybe the fool really DID dig it out of the trash some months later, and decided to keep it to feel important, - BUT... if the Army can PROVE the transfer of information and bribes, he's not going to at ALL like whats coming, and he's certainly not gonna get a kiss first.....
Also, it is a statistical fact that people convicted of TREASON have a dramatically short, exciting life span in this nation's prison system, dating right back to the 1700's (time honored tradition, donthcha know) -

Yeah, that's why I posted this...to get anybody's perspective on this. It make you wonder if the guy may have 'made some money' doing some things he shouldn't have done, but, whether or not he was some kind os super spy...well, I just think alot of people do alot of things and never get caught or challenged...because maybe it is 'minor' in the scope of things...know what I mean?...but looks like on this guy maybe there is something more than 'minor'?
Thanks for your input.
